キャッスルの中華そば
ラーメン放浪記 １０１
和歌山市内の中華そば屋さんは行き着く尽くした感のある昨今。
以前より気になっていたものの、少し入りづらいと感じていたお店に。
和歌山市中島にある「キャッスル」。
中華そば屋さんの名前らしくない店名。そして看板にある「カレー」の文字。
行ったのは土曜の仕事を午後１時に終えて、中島まで直行。
お店に駐車場は無いので、向かいの食品量販店に置かせて頂き（Ｅ．Ｇ．さんゴメンなさい）
道を渡って、お店に。
お店の中は奥行きが無く、横に広い細長い店内。
注文したのは、中華そばとライスのセット。（７００円）
壁に貼っているお品書きを見ていると、中華そばとカレーがメイン。
おでん、酒、ビールもあるので簡単な居酒屋使いも出来そう。
ただ、中華そばとカレーの相性は“どうかいな？”とも思いますが。
中華そばのお顔です。
見た目は豚骨スープで、若干脂が膜を張っていて濃厚そうです。
お味です。
スープは見た目通りに、豚骨ベース。
鶏がらも使っていると思いますが、完全に豚骨が勝っている。
悪くはないのですが、豚骨の臭いが少し気になる。
スープを摂る時の生姜とか葱のような臭い消しの具材が足りないのか、灰汁とりが良くないのか。
でも、スープの味はまずまず。
豚骨醤油を少し、塩味に振った感じでしょうか。
辛味も丁度よく、濃厚すぎるわけでもない。
コクはそこそこありますが、味のキレが足らない。というのが感想です。
麺は柔らかめ。
硬めに仕上げた方が、このスープには合うと思うのですが。
具材はチャーシューが２枚、かまぼこが２枚、シナチク、葱と
和歌山の中華そばの定石どおりです。
全体的には、麺の硬さ、スープの臭いを改善すれば、
もっと美味しくなる可能性を感じる「中華そば」でした。
